Watch Out, Here Comes Liam!

They say "try, try again" and that's just what Liam does. Here he is practicing his new favorite mode of transportation, trying to get there quickly before his balance wears off.

Are Raspberries part of "If You're Happy and You Know It"?

Excuse the singing here, but Liam loved the new line we added to "If you're Happy and You Know it!". Join In!

1st Haircut

Liam had his first big boy haircut yesterday. We were hesitant on where to bring him, but there is a local chain, geared toward kids, that ended up working out very well... at least while he's squirmy. What a handsome little man!

Waterfall, Take Two!

Back by popular demand (the demand from Liam, himself, of course) - a new "waterfall' video. This one was purely to capture the attention of Mom and Dad. But here he is... cracking himself up!

Vroom, Vroom!!!

Cousin Katelyn decided she could pass on some of her favorite toys to Liam. Here's the Nemo-mobile, Liam's new favorite toy. It's amazing how quickly he can get around the house. He just needs a little help with the turning radius and he's off... until he gets to the stairs... then all bets are off. That will be the next video, we promise. Enjoy!

(Oh, and he now makes vroom vroom noises when he drives... not for the camera, of course, but if you catch him off guard, tongue sticking out...)

Cape Cod

Liam made his debut appearance on the Cape last month... it's hard to believe that was almost a month ago. He LOVED the beach and definitely liked "riding" the waves. We were fearful of what he might do with the sand (since he manages to put EVERYTHING in his mouth), but he more or less stayed away from getting a mouthful of the sandy stuff, although seashells did intrigue him.

Here he got a kick out of the water touching his feet:

Interestingly enough, rather than the sand, he tried to "eat" the wind. Is Daddy imitating Liam, or is Liam imitating Daddy?

As you can see, he was a very happy boy:

And, if you have the patience to listen to the wind hitting the microphone in the video, some of Liam's water moments:

Riding waves:

How'd the water get there?

Waterfall!

We've been a bit negligent in posting - we know. This happened about a month ago...

Liam has acquired a "taste" for his sippy cup. Believe it or not, he actually DOES drink from it. However, he also uses it as a personal cooling device:

This cup has since acquired a rather large hole in its side from Mr. Destructor himself.

Chillin' in the Pool

Saturday brought some GORGEOUS weather to MA. We had a bunch of visitors (Grandma, Grandpa, Papa, Aunt Rachel, Uncle Ben and Cousin Katelyn) for a cookout and Liam and cousin Katelyn had some fun in the pool...

Once he got used to the water, Liam loved his new raft. It provided the perfect shade for his very Irish skin. Now, if only there were a cup holder for his bottle...

Splish Splash!

Summer is FINALLY here!!! Despite the fact the pool is as cold as the New England ocean (or colder, if possible), Liam made his way out into the sun and into the pool. He loved the water, becoming an expert at kicking his legs, splashing his hands, and, unexpectedly, taking a few head bobs face first into the sparkly blue stuff! Now if only the sun would stay out to warm the water up a bit more...

Liam looks forward to many more days in the pool with all his family and friends.

Laughing with (or at!) Daddy

Ok, so we all know that Bill looks a little funny, but Liam takes this to an entirely different level. Apparantly, daddy putting blocks on his head and letting them fall off is VERY funny...

Happy Fourth of July!

Liam's first of many Fourth's to come... No fireworks this year, but some wonderful neighbor launched their own around midnight last night and Liam was up ready to celebrate with them as a result.

Liam's New favorite Toy

Liam literally has more toys than anyone can imagine... but this takes his interest the most. This and all the air vents in the house. Go figure!

Just in Time for Father's Day

People say babies either walk OR talk... but they don't do both at the same time. Liam's ready to prove them wrong. He's crawling all over the place and just started his new mumbles (seen here amongst all the raspberries). Ok, ok... crawling isn't walking and mumbling isn't talking, but give a baby a break!

Escape of the Red Ring

Liam went from "scooching" to the miliatary crawl to full out crawling all in a matter of days. He has become quite adept at it! He's very happy to be moving himself around and, above all, going wherever he wants to. Here he has discovered that the kitchen floor makes A LOT of noise, particularly if he drops and drags his red ring across it!

Official (Grown-Up) Red Sox Fan!

Yes, we all know that Liam is an official red sox fan (or will grow up to be one)... but can you believe how much he has grown?!?!?!

Baptism Day!

Sunday (May 3) was Baptism Day! Liam was donned in his finest whites - thank goodness no accidents prior to the Church! Here we are with Liam's HUGE, but fabulous cake...

New Favorite Pastime

From the beginning we have known Liam likes to be bounced... at times, it was the only thing that got him to sleep... but now he can bounce himself. And boy does he love it!

Thanks, Delagados, for passing down your swing to Liam!

Some new pictres...

OK, so we missed the Easter post... but here are some of our new favorites.

Can't get much cuter than at bathtime...

Liam - 6 months old (yes, 6 months already)

Yes, that is a REAL rabbit. Needless to say, the bunny was NOT happy about a baby trying to grab and eat it.

Liam has discovered his feet. Not only can he reach them, but he's very happy to show you that he can EAT them too!

Erin Go Bragh!

Liam and Elmo say "Happy Saint Patrick's Day"!!!!! While Liam wasn't able to enjoy any corned beef and cabbage, he did attempt to have a wee bit o' beer. Much to his chagrin, the pretty brown bottle was taken away. Maybe next year!

Watch out Mr. Elephant!!!

So, Mr. Liam has started to grab things and, of course, whatever he can grab goes directly in his mouth. His favorite item to play with is a stuffed animal whom we affectionately call "Mr. Elephant" - a Christmas gift from Dad's friend Mike (all the way from Japan!). Watch out for your nose, Mr. Elephant!!!

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve brought us some snow, but that didn't stop all the Lundells from heading on out! Aunt Jess and Uncle Joe invited us all over to continue our New Year's Eve tradition of eating dinner, hanging out and enjoying each other's company. We weren't certain how Liam was going to fare in the Pack 'N Play for the evening, but he was a champ sleeping right through Dick Clark's Awkward (formerly Rockin') New Year's Eve at midnight all the way till 7:45 New Year's Day. We couldn't ask for more. Happy 2009!

Here's Liam taking a nap Jan 1, all tuckered out from his big night out...

Merry Christmas!

Well, time is certainly flying by. And wouldn't you know, Christmas has come and gone already! It was an extended holiday for us. The weekend before meant a trip down to CT for dinner at the Cislo's house where we celebreated early with Aunt Rachel & Uncle Ben, Katelyn, Grandpa and Susan. Then, before we knew it, it was Christmas Day. Liam celebrated by sleeping in a bit (8 am!) and then we opened presents at home. Santa brought Liam a new Bruins outfit, just the perfect size to fit for the playoffs. We then trekked over to Needham to see Nana, Papa, and Aunt Moira.

We closed the day with Grandma and Grandpa coming up from CT for a sleep-over. Liam woke everyone up the next morning around 6:30am (was there more presents this morning too?!?!) where we spent the morning catching up and preparing for lunch with the Cislos as well.

It was certainly a whirlwind adventure, but Liam enjoyed being able to see everyone. He can't wait to meet Santa in person next year!

Merry Christmas everyone!
